Welcome to the website of the Irish embassy in Riga.  I hope that you find the information here to be useful and beneficial.

At the embassy we are working hard to develop relations between Ireland and Latvia. As fellow EU members we have a lot in common and whether you are a resident of Latvia or of Ireland we will try and help you if we can.

Consular Assistance

On this site you will find information about applying for an Irish Passport as well as for a Visa to visit our country.  Please note that Latvian citizens do not need a visa to visit Ireland but Latvian non-citizens do need one.  We also have information on Irish citizenship.  For people who are already Irish citizens you can find information on getting married in Latvia and on how to have documents authenticated .
